Requirements:
\n- \n
- Practical background in SEN support, care work, youth mentoring, 1:1 assistance, or classroom support. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers. \n
- Confidence with classroom management and handling low-level disruption assertively. \n
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). \n
Key Duties:
\n- \n
- Supervise high school classes (KS3 & KS4) during short-term teacher absences. \n
- Deliver pre-set work and learning instructions provided by the department. \n
- Maintain strong classroom control using the school's positive behaviour policies. \n
- Keep students focused and on-task throughout each lesson period. \n
- Collect completed work and report back to the subject department head. \n
