Data and Reporting Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Data and Reporting Engineer to join the team at our Blythe Bridge depot!
\nThe Data & Reporting Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-led decision making across the organization. This role is predominantly office based.

Essential Skills & Experience
\nTechnical
\n- \n
- Strong SQL capability \n
- Hands-on experience delivering reports using: \n
-QlikView (data loads, scripting, set analysis, dashboards)
\n-Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query, visuals, workspace practices)
\n-SSRS (report development, datasets, parameters, subscriptions, scheduling)
\n- \n
- Understanding of data modelling concepts (facts/dimensions, measures, grain, hierarchies). \n
- Experience integrating data from multiple systems and dealing with imperfect source data. \n
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or HTML to support data manipulation, automation, or report customisation. \n
Analytical & Delivery
\n- \n
- Ability to convert requirements into clear technical design and deliver working solutions. \n
- Strong troubleshooting skills. \n
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment balancing BAU reporting support with change delivery. \n
Communication
\n- \n
- Able to explain data concepts and report logic to non-technical stakeholders. \n
- Strong documentation habits: definitions, assumptions, report purpose, and change notes. \n
Desirable (Advantageous) Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Epicor BisTrack experience (reporting, data structures, operational workflows such as sales orders, purchasing, inventory, pricing, site performance). \n
- Exposure to data warehousing / lakehouse concepts and/or modern cloud data platforms. \n
- Familiarity with data governance, KPI standardisation, and master data management concepts. \n
