SEN Teaching Assistant

Plymouth£95-£100 per dayFull-Time | Monday-Friday

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming school in Plymouth.

You will provide support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping pupils with a range of special educational needs to access learning and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with SEN in the classroom.
\n
• Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons.
\n
• Assisting with social and emotional development.
\n
• Working closely with teaching staff and SENCOs.
\n
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Previous experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential.
\n
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
\n
• Strong communication skills.
\n
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
\n
• Full, clean drivers licence and access to a vehicle.
\n
