  • Provide leadership, direction, and technical oversight to the Building Surveying team.
  • \n
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term strategic relationships and identifying opportunities for service expansion.
  • \n
  • Lead the growth and development of the Norwich Building Surveying function, supporting recruitment, team development, and succession planning.
  • \n
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire graduate, apprentice, and junior surveyors, helping them achieve professional qualifications and progress their careers.
  • \n
  • Support business planning activities, helping to shape future service offerings, target sectors, and growth strategies.
  • \n
  • Act as a visible leader both internally and externally, enhancing the company's reputation within the regional property and construction market.

We're keen to speak with experienced Building Surveyors who combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and leadership capability..What you'll need to succeedEssential Requirements:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).
  • \n
  • Proven post-chartership experience within a consultancy environment.
  • \n
  • Strong project management and contract administration experience.
  • \n
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and NBS specifications.
  • \n
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • \n
  • Commercially aware with experience preparing fee proposals and managing project profitability.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • Passion for mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • \n
  • Ability to contribute to business development and identify new opportunities.
  • \n
