We are seeking a Fire Safety Regulations Manager to lead our fire safety compliance efforts within a housing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and related regulations across the council's residential portfolio. This is a leadership position, ideal for someone with experience in housing and fire/building safety, looking to further their career in a managerial capacity.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Lead the council's Fire Safety Management Plan and associated fire strategies. \n
- Manage fire safety compliance across residential buildings, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards. \n
- Maintain and develop Building Safety Cases and manage the "Golden Thread" of building information. \n
- Undertake and review fire and building risk assessments, monitoring risks and ensuring suitable mitigation measures are in place. \n
- Develop tailored resident engagement plans and work closely with tenant involvement teams. \n
- Support delivery of investment, improvement, and remediation programmes, ensuring effective communication with residents to minimise disruption. \n
- Report incidents and regulatory matters to the Building Safety Regulator as required. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong fire safety and building safety knowledge within a housing environment. \n
- Proven experience managing fire and/or building safety compliance. \n
- Ability to develop organisational responses to regulatory requirements. \n
- Experience leading teams and managing performance. \n
- Skilled in customer and resident engagement. \n
- Proficient in managing complex compliance information and databases. \n
- Relevant qualifications in Fire Safety, Building Safety, Construction, or Building Surveying. \n
- NEBOSH Fire qualification or equivalent, IOSH or similar Health & Safety qualification. \n
