Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role this September?

We are seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely and supportive SEMH school near Tonbridge area, helping students reach their full potential in a positive and nurturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including SEMH, ADHD, and Autism.

The Role:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • \n
  • September start
  • \n
  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • \n
  • Working closely with pupils who have SEN needs, including SEMH, ADHD, and Autism
  • \n
  • Assisting with both academic learning and emotional development
  • \n
  • Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • \n
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to meet individual student needs
  • \n

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
  • \n
  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable
  • \n
  • Experience working with SEMH, ADHD, Autism, or challenging behaviour is advantageous
  • \n
  • Patient, resilient, and positive attitude
  • \n
  • Drivers are highly desirable due to the school's location
  • \n
