MRF Manager (Materials Recovery Facility)Location: AscotSalary: circa £50k plus vehicle and bonusAs a MRF Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).You will be responsible for ensuring operational targets and objectives are consistently achieved, maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.You will manage and support a team of over 20 staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations of the MRF and RDF facility, covering processing mixed C&D and C&I wastes.Oversee and coordinate shift operations to meet company targets and quality standardsEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations; conduct investigations and implement corrective actions following incidents/accidentsPlan and execute preventive maintenance (PPM), plant shutdowns, and routine cleans to ensure maximum plant availabilityDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility to enhance efficiency and operational effectivenessSale of all recyclateCost control to budget and variance analysis, productivity to budget and site KPIs,RDF production to offtakeAbout YouExtensive experience managing MRF and RDF facilities, ideally in high-volume, multi-shift environmentsDemonstrable experience managing large operational teamsStrong technical knowledge of vehicles and plant equipment used within MRF operationsWAMITAB /COTC Level 4 qualification (essential)NEBOSH qualification (preferred)Key Attributes:Highly motivated and organisedApproachable and supportive leadership styleStrong sense of discipline and accountabilityExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to build rapport across all levels of the businessCommitment to continuous improvement and safety cultureTPBN1_UKTJ
