Freelance Quantity Surveyor Facades & RemediationLocation: CardiffRate: £350 per dayContract: FreelanceStart Date: ImmediateFreelance Quantity Surveyor RequiredWe Recruit Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist contractor operating within the faades, cladding remediation and fire safety sector.Due to continued project wins across South Wales and the South West, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a long-term contract.The RoleWorking alongside the Commercial Manager and operational teams, you'll take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of faade and remediation projects from pre-construction through to final account.Your responsibilities will include:Managing subcontractor procurement and commercial packagesPreparing valuations and applications for paymentCost reporting, forecasting and cash flow managementValuing variations and managing change controlContract administration (JCT)Producing monthly CVRsNegotiating final accountsSupporting project delivery while managing commercial riskAbout YouProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industryExperience in faade, cladding, remediation, roofing, external envelope or fire safety projects is highly desirableStrong knowledge of JCT forms of contractExcellent commercial and contractual awarenessAble to manage multiple projects and work independentlyAvailable to start immediately or at short noticeWhat's on Offer?£350 per dayLong-term freelance contractImmediate start availableSecure pipeline of remediation and faade projects across Cardiff, South Wales and the South WestOpportunity to work with a well-established and growing specialist contractorFlexible working arrangements where project requirements allowIf you're a Freelance Quantity Surveyor looking for your next contract in South Wales, we'd love to hear from you.Please contact Tom Munden @ We Recruit Group | 07867 300 311TPBN1_UKTJ
