Senior Tendering EngineerReports to: Commercial LeadSalary: £40,000 - £45,000Working Pattern: Flexible based on candidate. Open to two days a month on site.Main purpose of the role:To prepare accurate, commercially sound tender submissions and major project quotations, while providing technical support to customers, the Business Development Manager and the wider tendering team.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of Major Project quotations based on customer enquiries, wherever possible adhering to specification and schematicCompletion of general arrangement drawings to support quotationsWorking to (wherever possible) agreed quality objectives in terms of quotation response and prioritising wherever possible those enquiries with a high probability of successLiaise with customers & Business Development Manager to ensure we correctly interpret their requirementsProvide support to the Business Development Manager in terms of quotation progress / requotes and/or customer visitsUtilise Pipedrive to record quotations, customer contact and feedbackWhen required, provide supporting commentary to the Business Development Manager highlighting anomalies, exclusions and also VE opportunities.Actively contribute to the Management MeetingsWhy apply?This is an opportunity to join a growing UK manufacturer of LV switchgear and electrical distribution solutions.
