\nEasy Living Developments Ltd is an established and expanding property development company seeking an experienced, commercially minded Accountant / Financial Controller to lead our finance function.

This is a senior leadership role for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
\n\n
Key Responsibilities
\n\n
• Oversee all aspects of the group’s financial management and accounting function.
\n• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow forecasts.
\n• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
\n• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT and CIS.
\n• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and HMRC.
\n• Manage payroll and oversee supplier payments and customer receipts.
\n• Monitor project profitability and provide financial analysis on development schemes.
\n• Develop and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
\n• Provide strategic financial advice to the Directors to support business decisions.
\n• Lead and mentor the finance team as the business grows.

About You
\n\n
The successful candidate will have:
\n\n
• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred).
\n• Significant experience in a senior accounting or financial controller role.
\n• Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
\n• Experience within property development, construction, or real estate would be highly advantageous.
\n• Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation.
\n• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
\n• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
\n• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
\n• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
