If you're looking for a role offering genuine variety, influence and long-term career development, this could be the perfect next step.The Opportunity As Group Health and Safety Advisor, you'll play a key role in:\n

• Supporting Health, Safety and Environmental activities across multiple UK sites and business sectors.
\n
• Conducting audits, inspections and compliance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
\n
• Carrying out accident, incident and near-miss investigations and identifying practical preventative measures.
\n
• Producing and reviewing risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
\n
• Supporting contractor management, permit-to-work systems and RAMS reviews.
\n
• Promoting fire safety, emergency preparedness and environmental compliance.
\n
• Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and initiatives to improve HSE awareness across the business.
\n
• Preparing sites for external audits, regulatory inspections and insurance visits.
\n
• Working closely with managers and operational teams to influence HSE policy, performance and best practice.
\n

Your work will directly contribute to creating safer workplaces, improving compliance and embedding a positive Health, Safety and Environmental culture across the organisation.About You We're looking for someone who can bring:\n

\n
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
\n
• Previous experience in a dedicated Health and Safety role.
\n
• Strong working knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and environmental compliance.
\n
• Experience carrying out audits, inspections, investigations and risk assessments.
\n
• Knowledge of COSHH, contractor management, permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work.
\n
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to positively influence colleagues at all levels.
\n
• A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to challenge constructively.
\n
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites.
\n
• Full UK driving licence and be happy to travel up to 25% of the time to sites across the UK
\n

Experience working across multiple sites, IOSH membership, knowledge of ISO standards or progression towards the NEBOSH Diploma would be advantageous but is not essential.The Benefits and Package In return, you'll enjoy:\n
