\n-Daily Rate - £500 via umbrella
\n-6 months initially

\n\nBrand new, long-term contract opportunity to the market for a seasoned Technical Solutions Architect, working on a large-scale project for our public sector client. You will work on a long-term programme of work, designed to upgrade the current digital technology estate - with the anticipated length of this contract up to a maximum of 3 years.
\n\nThis is a remote role; however, candidates must be based in Scotland due to the nature of the assignment. Candidates must also be able to achieve and maintain NPPV3 and Security Clearance (SC).
\n\nResponsibilities:

- Undertake upgrades/decommissioning of unsupported applications across the IT estate \n
- Patching / Obsolescence Frameworks \n
- Build in Automation by implementing new tools \n
- Provide consultation on all non-functional, architecture, and design decisions. \n
- Ensure enterprise architecture is developed consistently and aligned across projects and programmes. \n
- Lead solution architecture activities \n
- Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers \n
- Ability to translates business requirements into technical options \n
- Act as Technical Design Authority and provides architectural governance and oversight \n
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and transition smoothly into production. \n
- Evaluate new technologies and provide architectural recommendations. \n
- Provides technical leadership and quality assurance \n
