Due to continued growth and expansion, Veritas Education are actively seeking Cover Supervisors and Secondary Supply Teachers to support a collective of secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne, for opportunities starting from September.

Whether you're an experienced educator, recent graduate, sports coach, youth worker or someone looking to build a career within education, we'd love to hear from you.

We are particularly keen to hear from:

• Graduates with experience working with children or young people

• Youth Workers and Learning Mentors
\n
• Sports Coaches and Activity Leaders

• Aspiring Teachers considering teacher training

• Experienced Cover Supervisors
\n
• Qualified Secondary Teachers across all subject areas

The Role:

\n
• Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
\n
• Support student engagement and behaviour management
\n
• Gain experience across a range of secondary schools
\n
• Flexible daily supply and longer-term positions available
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Experience working with children or young people
\n
• Confidence managing groups of students
\n
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
\n
• Positive, professional and reliable approach
\n
