Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to play a key role on one of South Wales' most exciting regeneration schemes? Due to continued growth, they are seeking an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a flagship development in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, complex project where you'll have genuine influence over commercial performance while working alongside an experienced and supportive project team.

Responsibilities

• Managing all commercial aspects of a major regeneration development
\n
• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating subcontract packages
\n
• Cost planning, forecasting and reporting to senior management
\n
• Managing subcontractor payments, variations and final accounts
\n
• Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies
\n
• Working closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability
\n
• Producing accurate monthly cost reports and valuations
\n
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
\n

Required Skills

\n
• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within contracting or residential development
\n
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management
\n
• Experience managing large, complex projects from inception through to completion
\n
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
\n
• A proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
\n
