Bereavement Counsellor - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Princess Alice Hospice is a charity supporting people in life, death and grief across Kingston, Richmond and parts of Surrey. We are committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care and support to our communities.

We are seeking an experienced Bereavement Counsellor with an interest in spirituality to provide high-quality clinical assessments and bereavement support for adults accessing our Bereavement Service.

\n

You will play a key role in delivering holistic care and helping to develop our bereavement services within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

About You

\n

You will:

\n

\n
• Be a qualified counsellor with at least two years' post-qualification experience.
\n
• Have a strong understanding of bereavement, loss and human development.
\n
• Be experienced in conducting clinical assessments.
\n
• Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive and non-judgemental counselling.
\n
• Be confident working both face-to-face and remotely.
\n
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
