Day Work

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our clients team working out of Heysham on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for work through the week. This work mainly involves dock collection at Heysham. General haulage experience would be beneficial. As a driver representing Driver Hire, you will be able to contact us 24/7 for any support you may need.

Key Responsibilities for a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to delivery points
\n
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirements
\n
• Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives
\n
• Represent the company professionally at all times
\n

Experience & Qualifications for a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
\n
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience preferred
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
\n
• No major endorsements (IN, DR, DU, CD)
\n
