HGV Class 1 Driver Tramping/Nights-Out

DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver Tramping/Nights-Out to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Bolton, Manchester.

Our client is a long-term small family business and have been in road haulage since the late 1940s and are very well established. They are based in Bolton and currently have 5 drivers in their team.

\n

This role is a temporary ongoing position.

\n

The Job

\n

Working for a well-recognised road haulage company.

\n

Little to no handball work, 95% of their work is to Regional Distribution Centres nationwide.

\n

Basic contracted hours are 40 hours plus overtime (usually between 15-20).

\n

Monday to Friday

\n

3 to 4 night-outs per week

\n

Night out rate is £26 per night-out

\n

Brand new Sleeper Cab vehicle (fridge and all up to date facilities)

\n

You are paid a minimum 8 hours per shift.

\n

Uniform is provided.

\n

Minimum age of 25 years old with a minimum of 6 months experience required.

\n

Key Skills Required

\n

Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence Entitlement.

\n

In Date CPC Card and Tacho Card.

\n

Physically fit and able to carry out the role.

\n

Excellent Geographical knowledge.

\n

Excellent Communication skills.

\n

Excellent Customer service skills.

\n

A sound understanding of the WTD and Drivers hours rules.

\n

The Pay (PAYE)

\n

Hourly Rate: £16.00 to £24.00 per hour

\n

Night Out Payment: £26.00 per night as a paid expense.

\n
