Job Description

Yolk Recruitment are supporting a global manufacturing organisation with the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer for their Crumlin site working a 3-shift Pattern .This is a rare opportunity which was previously recruited for 5 years ago, they are looking for an experienced multi-skilled engineer to join, playing a key role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring safe and efficient operations across the site.This is what you'll be doingAs a Maintenance Engineer, you'll provide a full engineering service to production operations and site facilities, carrying out reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance activities across both electrical and mechanical systems. Working predominantly on a lone-working basis during your shift, you will be responsible for:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing and site equipmentResponding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding on electrical and mechanical systemsDiagnosing faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime and maintain production performanceSupporting the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing machineryAssisting with maintenance planning activities and updating maintenance schedules through SAP CMMSDriving improvements in plant efficiency, reliability and productivityEnsuring all work is completed in accordance with company Health, Safety and Environmental standardsCommunicating effectively with production and engineering teams regarding maintenance issues and plant performanceMaintaining accurate maintenance records and documentationWorking independently whilst also contributing to wider engineering improvement projectsThe experience you'll bring to the teamWe're looking for an electrically biased engineer with strong fault-finding capabilities and experience within a manufacturing environment.Completed an Electrical or Mechatronic ApprenticeshipHNC/HND qualification in Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years' engineering maintenance experience within manufacturingStrong electrical fault finding skills with good mechanical understandingExperience carrying out reactive, preventative and predictive maintenanceComfortable working independently and taking ownership of maintenance activities whilst lone workingStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering and production functionsExperience using CMMS systems, ideally SAP18th Edition qualification would be advantageousHigh Voltage Switching certification would be advantageous but is not essentialAnd this is what you'll get in returnSalary of £46,200Monday to Friday 3-shift patternOngoing training and development opportunitiesAre you up to the challenge?If you're an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a challenging role within a well-established manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.Please get in touch today with engineering specialist recruiter, Andy Jones .Please apply with an up-to-date CV.
