Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support learners in class, either one-on-one or in small groups, across all curriculum areas from entry level to Level 3.
  • \n
  • Implement strategies to assist students with reading, writing, and maths skills.
  • \n
  • Provide support to students during their exams.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records of all support provided to learners.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • English & Maths at Level 2.
  • \n
  • A relevant Learning Support Assistant qualification is advantageous, or a willingness to undertake this qualification.
  • \n
  • Proficient IT skills along with strong numeracy, oral, and written communication abilities.
  • \n
  • A thorough understanding of the Additional Learning Support function and its importance in educational settings.
  • \n
