Salary & Package

• Salary: £38’610 + Overtime ( I have put you over at ideally £40k)

• Call-Out Rota: 1 in 5 weeks

Job Purpose

To carry out reactive maintenance, repairs, and minor works across a range of commercial properties, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Undertake reactive maintenance and repairs to building fabric and services
\n
• Work across a portfolio including:\n
  \n
  • Pubs & bars
  \n
  • Clubs
  \n
  • Retail shops & units
  \n
  • Shopping centres
  \n
  • General commercial properties
  \n
\n
• Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs on-site
\n
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) where required
\n
• Identify additional works and provide details for quotations
\n
• Liaise with clients and internal teams effectively
\n
• Work to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
\n
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with Health & Safety regulations
\n
• Accurately complete job reports and use PDA systems
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience (preferred)
\n
• Mechanical or electrical qualifications desirable
\n
• Experience working in commercial environments
\n
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
\n
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
\n
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
\n
• Flexible and able to meet tight deadlines
\n
\n

Other Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
\n
• Must be reliable for participation in the call-out rota (1 in 5) – Paid at time and a half
\n
• Must live within a BR postcode or nearby area
\n
• Professional attitude, always representing the company positively
\n
