  • Deliver engaging, accessible Science lessons to small classes

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
  • \n
  • Support students with Autism (ASC), SEMH and associated needs
  • \n
  • Work closely with experienced SEN staff, TAs and pastoral teams
  • \n
  • Create a calm, predictable classroom environment that helps students thrive
  • \n

About the Students

  • Secondary-aged learners with EHCPs
  • \n
  • Needs may include Autism, social communication difficulties, emotional regulation challenges and anxiety
  • \n
  • Classes are small, with high staff-to-student ratios
  • \n
  • Focus on progress, confidence and independence, not pressure
  • \n
\n

We’re Looking For:

    \n
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or strong UK teaching experience
  • \n
  • Experience with SEN, SEMH or ASD (school or alternative provision)
  • \n
  • A patient, consistent and positive approach
  • \n
  • Ability to differentiate and break learning down step-by-step
  • \n
  • Science specialism preferred, but adaptability is key
  • \n
