\n\nAre you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming primary school? Do you have experience supporting children with Autism (ASC) and additional complex needs?
\nSANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a highly regarded primary school in East Barnet, North London, to recruit a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) for the new academic year.
The Role\n- \n
- Full-time SEND TA, Monday to Friday, for the full academic year. \n
- Working one-to-one with a pupil joining the school from late September/early October. \n
- Supporting a child with complex special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), who is non-verbal. \n
- The school is particularly interested in candidates with experience using PECS and Makaton. \n
- Working hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm. \n
- Daily rate: £95-£100, depending on experience. \n
To be considered for this SEND TA role, you should:

- Have previous experience supporting children with special educational needs within a primary school setting. \n
- Ideally have knowledge or practical experience of PECS and Makaton. \n
- Be patient, caring and adaptable, with a calm and positive approach. \n
- Have strong communication skills and be confident maintaining accurate records while working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals. \n
