About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Attendant to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

\n
• Sort and categorize various types of laundry, including guest clothing, linens, and staff uniforms, ensuring proper handling and segregation.
\n
• Inspect guest clothing for stains or damage, utilizing appropriate cleaning agents and techniques for effective stain removal while preserving garment integrity.
\n
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines and selecting appropriate cycles and settings for washing, drying, and ironing.
\n
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation through thorough washing, drying, ironing, and folding of laundered items.
\n
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure laundered items meet established standards of cleanliness, appearance, and customer satisfaction before delivery.
\n
• Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking items laundered and promptly notifying supervisors of stock replenishment needs.
\n

About you

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Certificate List the basic (minimum) education, certification, and/or licensing needed to be successful in the position.
\n
• Entry Level: 0 - 1 year of experience in relevant field within the international hospitality industry
