HLTA Required - SEMH Specialist Provision
\nWe are currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join a supportive specialist education setting working with secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an HLTA, experienced Teaching Assistant, or education professional who is passionate about making a positive difference to young people who may have faced barriers to learning.
\nThe successful candidates will play a key role in supporting pupils' educational and personal development. Responsibilities will include covering lessons when required, supporting learning across the curriculum, delivering targeted interventions, and running small group sessions based on the needs of the pupils.

Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs

Covering lessons when required to ensure continuity of learning
\n - \n
Delivering intervention programmes and small group activities
\n - \n
Supporting pupils with engagement, confidence, and progress
\n - \n
Building positive relationships and providing consistent support
\n - \n
Working closely with teaching staff and the wider support team
\n
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

HLTA status or significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting
\n - \n
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour
\n - \n
A calm, resilient, and positive approach
\n - \n
The ability to build strong relationships with young people
\n - \n
Confidence supporting learning and managing classroom environments
\n
