Make an impact supporting K-12 students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near New Richland, MN. This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to empower learners and support communication growth across a wide age range, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and a dedicated student services team. Compensation for this role ranges from $45 to $55+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications and Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active ASHA CCCs
- Minnesota SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to design engaging therapy strategies for diverse student needs
- Commitment to documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy onsite for students in K-12 grades
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary student support teams
- Maintain timely and accurate records of student progress
- Offer resources and support to staff and families regarding communication development
