Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure as an SLP in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Recent experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to monitor student progress
- Serve as an active member of multidisciplinary teams; contribute to IEP meetings
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student outcomes
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students receiving speech services
