Job Description
Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students’ speech and language development in the Cincinnati, OH area for the upcoming 26/27 school year! Two contract opportunities are currently open for passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs): one full-time position for the entire academic year and a maternity leave coverage at 0.8 FTE from August 19 through September 30.
In either position, you’ll work with a collaborative educational team, contributing directly to student growth and success by assessing and treating a range of speech, language, and communication needs across various grade levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid SLP licensure or eligibility in Ohio
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Skill in evaluating, planning, and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings as a subject area expert
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school district and regulatory requirements
- Offer consultative support to teachers and staff as needed
