Job Description
An exciting contract opportunity is available for experienced Occupational Therapists with a passion for supporting K-8th grade students. This position, situated in a school-based environment near Groveport, OH, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational setting. You’ll work closely with a caseload of 13 students, helping them thrive and succeed academically and functionally.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Ohio OT License required
- School-based OT experience preferred but not mandatory
- Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, students, and families
- Commitment to creating individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to children in grades K-8
- Evaluate students’ abilities and develop effective interventions in alignment with IEP goals
- Maintain timely records of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student success
- Engage families in their child’s progress and recommendations
- Meet district and state reporting requirements
Role Details:
- Contract position starting August 19, 2026, through May 21, 2027
- Two days per week, 10 hours weekly, working onsite
- Caseload of 13 students offering focused, quality service
