Assignment Highlights:
- Full academic year: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Monday–Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload of approximately 43 students in a well-resourced setting
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Preference for applicants with an active North Carolina SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy sessions for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing IEPs in partnership with teachers and families
- Tracking student progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to team meetings
- Providing consultation and support to teaching staff
- Engaging actively with families and caregivers to ensure holistic student development
