Assignment Highlights:

  • Full academic year: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload of approximately 43 students in a well-resourced setting

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Preference for applicants with an active North Carolina SLP license
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit and commitment to student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy sessions for students with a range of speech and language needs
  • Developing and implementing IEPs in partnership with teachers and families
  • Tracking student progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to team meetings
  • Providing consultation and support to teaching staff
  • Engaging actively with families and caregivers to ensure holistic student development
