Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting educational success as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with students in a school-based setting near Detroit, MI. This role begins August 12 and extends through February 2027, providing a consistent, full-time role at 37.5 hours per week.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
  • Experienced in pediatric and/or school-aged populations
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support teams
  • Comfortable adapting therapy approaches for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
  • Maintain all required documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver therapy services individually and in small groups within school environments
  • Contribute to creating a supportive, inclusive, and positive educational atmosphere
