This contract opportunity focuses on providing speech-language services for upper elementary and middle school students, with a manageable caseload and a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate, or the ability to obtain (district support provided for pending applications)
- Prior experience in school settings working with upper elementary and/or middle school students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving communication skills
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in team meetings, including IEP and multidisciplinary conferences
- Consult with teachers and staff to support carryover of strategies in classroom settings
- Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students ranging from upper elementary to middle school
