This contract opportunity focuses on providing speech-language services for upper elementary and middle school students, with a manageable caseload and a supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Active Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate, or the ability to obtain (district support provided for pending applications)
  • Prior experience in school settings working with upper elementary and/or middle school students preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving communication skills
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Participate in team meetings, including IEP and multidisciplinary conferences
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support carryover of strategies in classroom settings
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students ranging from upper elementary to middle school
