Middle School Elementary Special Education Teacher - Littlerock, CA

As a roving Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with other Resource Specialist Program (RSP) educators, providing targeted instruction and support to a caseload of 28 middle school students. This role allows for both variety and impact as you travel between classrooms, delivering specialized learning experiences tailored to each student’s educational plan.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification and credential
• Experience in elementary and/or middle school settings, with preference for those familiar with RSP models
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for supporting diverse learners, including those with mild-to-moderate disabilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, families, and support staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Delivering engaging lessons aligned with curriculum and student goals
• Assessing progress and adjusting supports as needed
• Partnering with other RSP teachers and school staff to ensure best practices
• Communicating regularly with parents and multidisciplinary teams
