Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Longview, Washington. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to middle school students with various disabilities while making a meaningful impact on their academic, social, and behavioral success.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time
5 Days per Week (Monday–Friday)
7.5 Hours per Day
School Year: August 26, 2026 – June 11, 2027
Student Population:
Middle School
Students with Various Disabilities
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification required
Experience working with middle school students and diverse learning needs preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation
Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments
Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Washington State learning standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
Implement evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions
Support students' academic, social-emotional, communication, and functional skill development
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
