Job Description

This contract position seeks an Educational Behavior Specialist passionate about enhancing learning experiences and fostering a positive school climate. Both Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Psychologists with relevant behavioral expertise are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current BCBA certification or state-licensed Psychologist
- Demonstrated proficiency conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Expertise in developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Solid background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Training and experience in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or similar behavioral programs
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive FBAs to guide individualized behavioral supports
- Design, implement, and monitor data-driven BIPs for students with varied behavioral needs
- Train and consult with teachers, staff, and families on best practices in behavior management and ABA techniques
- Facilitate Non-Violent Behavioral Training for school teams to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district standards
