Inspire the next generation by supporting students in a diverse and welcoming environment located near Zion, IL. This contract opportunity runs from August 17 to May 27, 2027, and is designed for passionate educators ready to make a difference at the intermediate level. Full-time, onsite roles are available (virtual options are not accepted).

We seek skilled professionals to fill a variety of needs:

  • 5th Grade Dual Math/Science (two positions available)
  • 5th Grade Dual Social Studies/ELA (one position available)
  • 6th Grade Dual Math/Science (one position available)
  • K-2 English Second Language Teacher (PreK level, responsibilities tailored to grade)

Ideal candidates have a solid background in either general education or ESL instruction and are enthusiastic about engaging young learners.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsements (please specify your subject and endorsement when applying)
  • Experience designing curriculum, lesson planning, and classroom instruction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster student growth and collaborate with staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create interactive and differentiated lessons based on subject and student needs
  • Support English language learners at the K-2/PreK level with targeted language acquisition strategies (for ESL roles)
  • Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with parents and educational teams
  • Foster a nurturing, positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and achievement
