Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active SLP-CCC certification required
  • Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with speech and language assessment tools
  • Compassion for students of diverse backgrounds and ability levels
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals with classroom instruction
  • Maintain accurate documentation for progress reports, evaluations, and compliance records
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise as a valued team member
  • Offer guidance and resources to school staff and families regarding speech-language pathology best practices
