\nLocation: Pecos, TX

General Information/Job Summary
\nUnderstand instructions and documentation to plan work activities. Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up activities.
\nPrimary Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Read loop sheets, P&IDs, and blueprints \n
- Work to disassemble and remove instruments and then reinstall \n
- Perform tube bending; tube bending in groups; install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray; screw pipe; deco trace; steam tracking \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Minimum of 4 years of Industrial Construction experience as an Instrument Fitter. \n
- Working knowledge P&ID’s \n
- Knowledge of tube bending \n
- Attention to detail \n
- Must be able to provide tools. \n
Physical Requirements
\n- \n
- Manual and finger dexterity. \n
- Eye-hand coordination. \n
- Depth perception. \n
- Ability to see things clearly that are beyond arm’s reach. (Far visual acuity) \n
- Ability to see small detail. \n
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. \n
- Must be able to work at heights above 20 feet. (Aerial lifts) \n
- Ability to climb 30-foot ladders without resting. \n
- Ability to maintain balance on catwalks and narrow workspaces. \n
- Ability to stand for long periods of time. \n
- Ability to reach above the head while sitting or standing. \n
- Ability to reach below knees while standing. \n
- Ability to stoop or kneel. \n
- Ability to work at least 60 each week. \n
- Ability to work at heights. \n
