Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a fast-paced outpatient healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary providers, and support patients throughout their healthcare journey while ensuring compliance with nursing standards and state regulations.

• Provide direct patient care within the LVN scope of practice.

• Review laboratory results and report abnormal findings to providers.

• Administer medications, perform blood draws, and start IVs (if certified).

• Triage patient phone calls, voicemail messages, and patient portal inquiries.

• Assist with prior authorizations and reportable disease documentation.

• Perform medication reconciliation and maintain accurate patient records.

• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and self-care.

• Supervise and support Medical Assistants as directed.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.

• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in an outpatient or clinic setting.

• Experience with rapid STI/HIV testing and treatment.

• Proficient in administering injectables and performing blood draws/phlebotomy.

• Working knowledge of PrEP and PEP medications and related patient education.

• Experience providing patient care and follow-up through phone calls and patient portals.

• Strong understanding of infectious disease management and patient-centered care.

• Active California LVN license required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
