ACADEMIC PEDIATRIC UROLOGY SURGEON - Assistant/Associate Professor

Job Opportunity: Pediatric Urology Surgeon

The Department of Urology at our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Urology Surgeon to join our team as a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on experience and academic credentials. This role will report directly to the Chair of Urology and presents a unique chance to contribute to the growth and development of an academic Urology program in Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an active medical practice.
• Educate and mentor medical students and residents.
• Participate in clinical and/or basic science research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Urology residency.
• Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Urology.
• Eligibility for an Illinois medical license.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual salary for this position ranges from $250,000 to $275,000, reflecting the academic base salary funded by the University. The final salary will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of market data, internal salary equity, candidate qualifications, and budget considerations.
