Locum Tenens NP - Occupational Medicine Opportunity in Alaska
Job Description
Our organization offers a variety of locum assignments, ranging from just a single day to several years. Some positions may require travel, while others are conveniently located nearby. Schedule and Responsibilities- Work Hours: Monday to Friday; remote schedule starting as early as 6 AM, with the last block around 5 PM.
- Patient Load: Manage 8 to 10 patients daily.
- Setting: Occupational health environment.
- Coordination: Collaborate with an occupational health technician to streamline clinical workflow.
- EMR System: Utilize Cority for electronic medical records.
- Examinations: Conduct physical exams, DOT exams, fit-for-duty assessments, and respiratory surveillance.
- Certification: Must be a DOT Certified medical examiner listed on the National Registry.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP); 1 to 2 years in occupational health is preferred.
