Step into a rewarding role supporting preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity engages you in delivering essential speech services to children ages 3-5 across several school sites near Newbury Park, CA. Full-time hours provide the chance to make a significant difference, collaborating with another on-site SLP to ensure students receive the highest standard of care.

You’ll manage a caseload of up to 50 young learners, addressing a range of communication needs and working closely with a team dedicated to transforming early education outcomes. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 17, 2026—offering the perfect duration to build strong connections, see progress, and contribute to the life-changing work happening in these schools. Collaboration is highly valued, and you’ll also be connected with OTs to support students’ overall development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP or SLPA licensure required (CFY applicants warmly encouraged)
  • ASHA CCCs or pending CFY status welcome
  • Experience with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
  • School-based or healthcare-based SLP/SLPA background advantageous
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech/language therapy to preschool students (ages 3-5)
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and on-site SLPs/OTs
  • Manage a caseload of up to 50 students across multiple locations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
