Work with a supportive district in Northern California, providing speech-language services to 1–2 classrooms in the Oroville/Paradise area. This position primarily seeks part-time candidates who can be onsite two days per week, though strong virtual applicants will also be considered. In this role, your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) will make a direct impact. Your contributions will support students’ growth, promote inclusive learning, and help develop communication skills that last a lifetime. You may also assist with SLPA supervision, ensuring high standards of practice and fostering professional development within the team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Solid experience in a school-based setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and mentoring abilities
  • Previous supervisory experience or willingness to supervise an SLPA
  • Comfortable providing services in person; open to virtual/teletherapy

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to students across 1–2 classrooms
  • Develop and implement student therapy plans, initiate therapy sessions, and track progress
  • Conduct assessments and timely documentation in compliance with district requirements
  • Collaborate with educators and families for comprehensive language support
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA as assigned
