Step into a pivotal role dedicated to supporting the success and well-being of students as a contract School Psychologist. This position offers a unique opportunity to work onsite within a vibrant educational community, providing critical psychological services in alignment with school objectives. The assignment will run from approximately August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a flexible 0.4 FTE schedule totaling 15 hours weekly. You’ll work collaboratively across designated school sites, making a meaningful difference each day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Minnesota School Psychologist license (required)
  • Previous experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
  • Ability to establish trust and rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Excellent collaborative, organizational, and documentation abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and participate in IEP processes
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to plan interventions and support services
  • Provide counseling, behavioral, and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of behavior intervention plans
  • Advocate for the mental health and educational needs of students
  • Serve as a resource for social-emotional learning and staff training initiatives

You’ll enjoy a workweek of 15 daytime hours, Monday through Friday, providing flexibility while remaining deeply engaged with each school community. Although this position is onsite, candidates with school social work backgrounds may also be considered.
