School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cincinnati, Ohio

This contract opportunity provides the chance to support children’s communication skills during the 2026/27 school year, with two engaging options available: a full-time position for the entirety of the year, or a temporary assignment covering a valued colleague’s maternity leave from August 19th through September 30th (0.8 FTE).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an SLP in Ohio
• Prior experience delivering services in school settings strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to effectively manage caseload, timelines, and documentation requirements
• Dedication to fostering student development and progress

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct (individual and group) and consultative therapy in accordance with school and IEP requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational success
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and progress monitoring
• Educate and support school staff in strategies for effective communication within the classroom
