\nPosition Summary
\nMaiden Lane Medical is seeking an experienced Physician Credentialing Specialist
\nto oversee provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and recredentialing for our growing
\nmulti-specialty practice. This role is responsible for ensuring physicians and advanced
\npractice providers are enrolled with commercial and government payers in a timely and
\naccurate manner to support uninterrupted patient care and revenue cycle operations.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n%CF; Manage initial credentialing and recredentialing for physicians and advanced
\npractice providers.
\n%CF; Complete and submit payer enrollment applications for commercial insurance
\nplans, Medicare, and Medicaid.
\n%CF; Maintain and update provider information in CAQH and other credentialing
\ndatabases.
\n%CF; Monitor application status and proactively follow up with insurance payers to
\nexpedite approvals.
\n%CF; Track credentialing expirations, including licenses, DEA registrations, board
\ncertifications, malpractice insurance, and payer recredentialing deadlines.
\n%CF; Coordinate with providers to obtain required documentation and signatures.
\n%CF; Maintain accurate credentialing files and ensure compliance with regulatory and
\npayer requirements.
\n%CF; Collaborate with Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Clinical Leadership regarding
\nprovider enrollment status.
\n%CF; Develop and maintain credentialing reports and dashboards, including:
\n%CB; New applications submitted
\n%CB; Pending applications
\n%CB; Approved enrollments
\n%CB; Recredentialing deadlines
\n%CB; Providers awaiting payer approval
\n%CF; Assist with provider credentialing and payer enrollment for new practice
\nlocations, telehealth services, and multi-state expansion initiatives.
\n%CF; Identify opportunities to improve credentialing workflows and reduce enrollment
\nturnaround times.
\nQualifications
\n%CF; Minimum 3 years of physician credentialing experience required.
\n%CF; Experience credentialing physicians and advanced practice providers with
\ncommercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
\n%CF; Strong knowledge of CAQH ProView, NPPES, PECOS, and payer enrollment
\nprocesses.
\n%CF; Experience working with multi-specialty medical practices preferred.
\n%CF; Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
\n%CF; Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
\n%CF; Proficiency with Microsoft Office and credentialing software.
\nPreferred Qualifications
\n%CF; Experience supporting multi-state medical practices and/or telehealth
\norganizations preferred.
\n%CF; Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) or similar electronic health record systems.
\n%CF; Experience with New York and multi-state payer enrollment.
