Step into a pivotal role providing maternity leave coverage as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment near Lynnwood, WA. This contract position spans from August 25, 2026, through December 4, 2026, offering an engaging opportunity to collaborate with students, educators, and families across a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Current certification and licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in Washington state
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, response-to-intervention strategies, and best practices in school psychology
• Experience working within K-12 schools, supporting students from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to deliver individualized and group counseling, conduct functional behavior assessments, and create data-driven recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working closely with administrators, teachers, support staff, and parents
• Organized, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to design and implement appropriate intervention plans
• Help facilitate individualized education program (IEP) meetings and provide expert input on student eligibility and progress
• Deliver crisis intervention and support to students as needed
• Document all services in accordance with district and legal guidelines
• Advocate for students’ well-being, fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment
