This position is set for a .4 FTE, offering a consistent 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing a manageable schedule with meaningful impact. You'll work onsite, collaborating directly with staff and students to foster growth, resilience, and success. While the district has a preference for an experienced onsite psychologist, applicants with School Social Worker credentials are also encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license required (candidates cannot be considered without this).
- Recent experience providing psychological or counseling services in a K-12 school setting preferred.
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and writing reports.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Current resume must be submitted with application.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services to students, including assessments and participation in IEP and 504 meetings.
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to implement effective strategies supporting student learning and wellbeing.
- Support crisis intervention and provide counseling as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered.
- Contribute to a positive educational environment and advocate for student needs.
