Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students for the 2026-2027 school year near Nashua, NH. Two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide dedicated support for K-12 students from August 2026 through June 2027. This is an engaging, full-time position (32.5–37.5 hours per week), where you’ll make a meaningful difference for learners with communication needs, many of whom have Autism and utilize AAC devices. Your expertise will be valued as you work closely with a manageable caseload—generally ten or fewer students—ensuring every child receives tailored, high-quality therapy.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (NH or eligible for reciprocity)
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience with school-aged children; background with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing AAC interventions and supporting diverse communication needs
- Effective communicator with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and adaptable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans, focusing on communication, social skills, and AAC device use
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators to support student success
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
