Job Description
We are currently hiring a dependable Material Handler to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Nashville. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stable daytime hours and the potential to become a permanent employee.
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, fill, and stage customer orders accurately.
- Pack and ship customer orders in a timely manner.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, reach trucks, walking riders, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies.
- Maintain inventory accuracy while handling materials.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Composite or steel-toe shoes are required.
