ADULT OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH SUPERVISOR
Location: Taylor, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Adult Outpatient Mental Health / Community Mental Health
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week | Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-7:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Salary: Based on licensing and experience
POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee the administrative and clinical operations of an adult outpatient mental health program while supporting high-quality, client-centered services within the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the administrative and clinical functioning of the program
• Support delivery of services to clients and community partners
• Provide clinical guidance and support to program staff
• Provide after-hours coverage for crisis calls as needed
• Provide individual, family, and group mental health/substance use treatment
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and community resources
• Respond appropriately to client crises
• Maintain accurate documentation, data, and program records
• Support a collaborative, culturally competent, and client-centered environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Active, full Michigan license: LMSW, LPC, or LLP
• Minimum 3 years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders
• Experience providing individual, family, and group treatment
• Strong communication, organizational, and crisis-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Highly Preferred:
• Community mental health experience
• Knowledge of community resources
• Cultural competency and experience working with diverse populations
